Heads up downtown commuters

Starting in June, the bus tunnel will be closed on Saturdays. Then starting in September, it will be closed for construction until further notice (or "2 years", whichever comes first).

It's been suggested that the city should close 3rd Ave to car traffic and send all the buses down that. I think that's a great idea.

It's more than been suggested, it is the plan. my friend Owen is working on getting 3rd ready for busses-only traffic. yay fun.
