network attached storage enclosures

  • Apr. 24th, 2008 at 4:24 PM
Does anyone have any recommendations for network attached storage enclosures? I just consolidated all my mp3s onto one hdd (they all fit on a 250gb drive, I was a little surprised). And I'd like to put them on the network.

Thanks!

ReadyNAS NV+
I did some research on this about 4 months ago, the ReadyNAS NV+ looked like the best of the bunch.

Re: ReadyNAS NV+
That looks pretty close to what I want, but I already have a drive with all my data on it, I just want an enclosure.

Drobo looks cool, but it's expensive.

I have the ReadyNAS NV+ and am quite happy with it, though it is a bit pricey. But it's super easy to manage and has Firefly and Slimserver built in for streaming.
