Made an offer

Venessa and I just made an offer for this house (there’s no address on the listing but it’s on 24th and Judkins, a few blocks west of where we live now).

It was just what we were looking for, small, high-quality kitchen, open layout, bright, room for a garden, but not too much yard to maintain.

It looks very light and airy! I'm jealous. I want to find a house that I want to make an offer on. Of course, we are extremely picky and looking in much more "desirable" neighborhood, which is going to make the hunt that much harder for us.

It's priced pretty fairly for what it is. Note on the listing that the "square footage" field is blank...that means it's small. I don't know the exact number but its < 900.

I love the bedroom-as-loft concept, but it won't afford you guys much privacy when the twins are there. And where is their room, anyway?

Agreed, the loft sacrifices privacy for "cuteness" something we'll just need to get adjusted to if we get this place.

The boys' room is off the dining nook, near the back of the house. It's the 2nd to last picture in the photo set. You can just barely see the doorway to it in the 3rd photo in the set.

You might have been able to see the back of them from 23rd, but they're on 24th, so you probably saw something else.

On another note, sorry we missed the twins' party yesterday. Too much sickness going on at our house unfortunately. :(

Sorry to hear about the sickness :( Hope there is betterness soon.

We'll have to have a bunch of housewarming parties, because I don't think the house can fit more than 8 people in it at a time :)
